Kumkum Bhagya is a romantic and family Indian-Hindi TV show on Zee TV and ZEE5 that premiered on Apr 2014. This is one of the great productions of Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Films. This is also one of the long-running Hindi desi serials that have crossed the figure of 2600 plus episodes based on one season till now. This Indian Television soap opera started with the star cast of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia initially. But later on, the story proceeds with the new generation, new faces, and new storylines. Kumkum Bhagya serial is inspired by ”Sense and Sensibility” by Austen’s novel. Currently, Abrar Qazi, Mugdha Chaphekar, Rachi Sharma, and Krishna Kaul are the leading cast of this drama.

KumKum Bhagya Plot and Storyline – Written Update

This is the story of Kumkum Bhagya, a marriage palace managed and owned by Sarla Arora. This is a sole source of income for Sarla to upbring her daughter Pragya, Bulbul, Preeta and Srishti. Pragya ia simple and honest girl, and her life gets twisted when she gets married to a rockstar Abhishek Mehra. Abhi’s sister loves Purab, and Purab loves Bulbul Arora. But Alia mistakenly gets Pragya as Purab’s love interest. To take his sister revenge, Abhi marries to Pragya. This marriage also makes Tanu angry, girlfriend of Abhi.

Time geoes on, and there are a lot of misunderstandings, love, marriage crisis, and conspirancies in Abhi and Pragya’s bond. Alia and Tanu make plans to ditch Pragya by fake pregnancy of Tanu, but Pragya exposes them. Abhi has to suffer momory loss and he gets separated from Pragya, but get united after the death of their daughter Kiara. Abhi and Pragya had three daughters Kiara, Prachi, and Rhea Mehra.

After twenty years, the drama gets a turn with the story of Abhi and Pragya’s twin daughter Rhea and Prachi. Prachi is similar to her mother and gets involved in alove triangle with Ranbir along with her sister Rhea. This season or the story of second generation revolves around the Alia’ schemes, separation of Purab and Disha, death of Bulbul Khanna, reconciliation of Abhi and Pragya, and marriage of Prachi with Ranbir.

After six years, Prachi lives with her daughter Panchi, and has been separated from Ranbir. Prachi is trying to rebuild her life while Ranbir is facing new challenges. Prach decides to move Dehli and here’s story dynamic changes with marriage of Prachi and Akshay. This marriage hurts Ranbir emotionally. Mahika falls in love with Ranbir, Prachi faces new challenges of pregnancy after the death of Akshay. Ranbir sentenced to death and story gets a 20 years leap.

After this long leap, Prachi’s daughter Panchi faces financial crisis and starts to live in Tandon family. There, she gets married and Mahika lives in a mental asylum. Ranbir is alive with new identity of Krishna Kakkar. Also a new character Rajvansh Malhotra, who has interest in Poorvi, daughter of Prachi.
