Imlie is one of the long-running Indian-Hindi television soap operas on Star Plus and Hotstar from November 2020. This Hindi TV drama series can be digitally streamed on Disney+ Hotstar under the production of 4 Lions Films by Gul Khan. Imlie is a Hindi word with the meaning of ”Tamarind”, written by Aparajita Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma. This top family and romantic desi TV drama is developed by Leena Gangopadhyay under the direction of Atif Khan, Rahul Tiwari, and Ajay Kumar.

This drama has crossed 1100 plus episodes based on three seasons. It was initially started with Gashmeer Mahajani, Sumbul Touqeer, Mayuri Deshmukh, and Fahmaan Khan as the leading cast of Imlie season 1. Imlie Storyline and Plot – Written Update

Imli is a young and passionate girl from the village of Pangdandiya. Her life gets twisted and suddenly turns when she shifts to Dehli. She is an independent and executive reporter of Bhaskar Times. In Dehli, she meets with Aditya Kumar, who is a senior reporter in the same news agency. One day, Aditya and Imli are stuck in a cottage on a stormy night. The next day, the people of the village ask them to get married otherwise they will kill Adi.

Aditya is already married to Malini, and Malini is the half-sister of Imli. When Malini gets to know about Aditya’s marriage, she goes to the village with the name of Kalpana and finds the truth, Malini tries to break this marriage, but her fake pregnancy leads to the divorce of Malini and Aditya. Later, Aditya also gives a divorce to Imli. Then she meets Aryan, the CEO of the news agency. They get married, and Aditya leaves the country.

Imlie has a baby girl named Imli, and Cheeni is the daughter of Malini. Imli, Malini, and Aryan die in bomb blast. Imli Rana and Cheeni grow up. Imli is married to Atharva, but later a twisted love angle starts between Imli, Cheeni, and Atharva giving a new storyline to the second generation.

The time passes, Cheeni makes evil plans to kidnap Rana’s family and marry Atharva. She gets exposed and arrested for the murder of Dhairya. Imli returns to Atharva’s life, and they get married. Imli gave birth to a baby girl with the same name. Atahrva’s daughter Imlie works in a bar to earn money. There she meets an NRI Agasthya. They fall in love with each other. Vishwa creates problems for their relationship.
