Doree Storyline and Plot – Written Updates

This is the narration of six-year-old girl Doree based on the serious and social issue of girl child abandonment. Doree is a fictional story of a young girl who highlights social and immoral practices. Dore is a dotting girl who lives with her foster father Ganga Prasad in Bunkar Mohalla of Banaras city. Ganga Prasad lives in a house alone, and he has no family and no one knows about his family background. So people avoid to make bond with him. People are not willing to fix his marriage with their daughters, because of his unseen family background.

The story starts six years before, when Manasi Thakur gives birth to a baby girl of Anand Thakur, She knows that her family is not willing to accept her daughter. To protect and secure her daughter, Manasi brings her new baby and tries to escape from the haveli, otherwise Thakurs will kill her daughter. Meanwhile, Anand comes there and forcefully snatches the baby from Manasi. Manasi appeals to him to give her daughter back, but he says Kailashi Thakur demands only a baby boy. Then he snatches the baby and hands over to his servant. The servant puts the baby in a basket and leaves it in the river.

On the other bank of the river, Ganga Prasad sees this basket floating and takes it. He carries the baby out of the basket and holds her fingers to make a promise about finding her family. He puts the baby in a temple and waits to see who comes and recognizes this baby. But no one comes and claims the baby. Ultimately, Ganga Prasad brings that baby girl to his house and decides to take care of her like a daughter.
