Star Plus

Star Plus is an Indian TV channel, originated from Latin American streaming service Star+ that is redirected to Star Plus. An English channel was originally incarnated by Star Plus, to see the world. This is a general Indian-Hindi television channel owned by Disney+ Hotstar and Disney India. This channel provides drama entertainment based on family, comedy, reality TV shows, crimes, and television films.
It was launched on 21st Feb 1992 as an English-language international broadcasting TV show across the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia. It collaborated with Zee TV as its Indian counterpart. On 31st Mar 1996, Star Company ended its collaboration with Zee TV and transformed this streaming platform into an independent Indian-Hindi TV channel. It has been a bilingual TV channel based on Hindi and English languages till June 2000. Sameer Nair and Tarun Katial the CEO and programming chief accordingly, introduced a variety of new shows that influenced a large audience across India.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and Mann Kee Awaz Pratigya are all-time favorite Hindi TV shows by Star Plus. After 2020, Anupama, Imlie, Pandya Store, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 are the top-rated and currently running projects of Star Plus and Disney+ Hotstar. Star Bharat, Star Utsav, Star Gold, and Star Utsav are the sister channels of Star Plus.
