Imlie is a family and romantic Indian-Hindi television soap opera on Star Plus and Disney+ Hotstar from Nov 2022. This is one of the long-running Hindi TV drama series produced by 4 Lions Films by Gul Khan. Imlie is a Hindi word with the meaning of ”Tamarind”, developed by Leena Gangipadhyay under the direction of Rahul Tiwari, Atif Khan, and Ajay Kumar. Imli is a young passionate girl from the village of Pangdandiya and a news reporter by profession. Her life gets twisted when she moves to Dehli and meets Aditya Kumar, her senior journalist. One night, Aditya and Imli get stuck in a cottage because of the storm. The next day, the people of the village forced Aditya to marry Imli. Aditya is already married to Malini, and Malini is half-sister of Imli. Malini goes to the village of Imli with a fake identity to find the truth about her husband’s second marriage.

Malini plans to break their marriage through her fake pregnancy, but this leads to a divorce between Aditya and Malini. Later, Imli and Aditya also get separated and he leaves the country. Imli gives birth to a baby girl Imli Rana, and Malini gives birth to Cheeni. Imlie and Cheeni grow up and Imli marries Atharva. There is a love triangle between Imli and Cheeni with Atharva. Time passes, and Imlie Rana gives birth to a baby girl named Imlie. She works in a bar to earn money and falls in love with Agasthya, an NRI.
