Colors TV is an Indian-Hindi TV channel based on general entertainment pay television owned by Viacom 18. It was officially launched on 21^st Jul 2008 and consists of family desi dramas, comedy, reality shows, fantasy shows, television films, and crime shows. It is an Indian-based international broadcasting TV channel and its headquarters is in Mumbai, India. Rajesh Kamat was the Chief Executive Officer of Colors TV in 2008.

Sasural Simar Ka, Uttaran, Naagin, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi, Balika Vadhu, Bigg Boss, and Udaariyaan are the top-rated and most famous desi serials and shows. These shows and dramas help Colors TV to cross the market leader Star Plus in Gross Rating Points. In 2010, it became a member of Dish Network in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
